Board View

Board View

Each board has its own cards depending on the template used. You can view cards in grid, list, calendar, or Gantt chart view.

Board Grid View

By default, cards are arranged in grid view. You can change to grid view if you’ve used the list or calendar views.

  1. Go to the top right panel on your screen.

  2. Click on the “My Boards” icon.

  3. All your active boards will appear on the screen.

  4. Choose a board you want to view.

  5. Once it opens, go to its top right panel.

  6. Select the “grid” icon.

Board List View

  1. Go to the top right panel on your screen.

  2. Click on the “My Boards” icon.

  3. All your active boards will appear on the screen.

  4. Choose a board you want to view.

  5. Once it opens, go to its top right panel.

  6. Select the “calendar” icon.

Board Gantt Chart View

  1. Go to the top right panel on your screen.

  2. Click on the “My Boards” icon.

  3. All your active boards will appear on the screen.

  4. Choose a board you want to view.

  5. Once it opens, go to its top right panel.

  6. Select the “Gantt” icon.

Add a Member

  1. Go to the top right panel on your screen.

  2. Click on the “My Boards” icon.

  3. All your active boards will appear on the screen.

  4. Click on the board you want to add members to.

  5. Once it opens, go to its top right panel.

  6. Select the “member” icon. A list of members will appear.

  7. Click on “Add member”.

  8. You can add members from IImagine Life users only. You can use their username or email address. Enter a username or email address.

  9. Once entered, member’s icon will appear on the members list.

Board Members List

  1. Go to the top right panel on your screen.

  2. Click on the “My Boards” icon.

  3. All your active boards will appear on the screen.

  4. Click on the board you want to add members to.

  5. Once it opens, go to its top right panel.

  6. Select the “member” icon. A list of members will appear.

  7. Hover your mouse on the member icon to view its username.

Change Background

You can change the background of each board.

  1. Go to the top right panel on your screen.

  2. Click on the “My Boards” icon.

  3. All your active boards will appear on the screen.

  4. Click on the board you want to change.

  5. Once it opens, go to its top right panel.

  6. Click on the settings icon.

  7. Choose “Change Background”.

  8. Choose a color that you want to use. The board’s background will automatically change.

 

Applying Patterns and Textures

You can also apply different patterns and textures to the board’s background.

  1. Go to the top right panel on your screen.

  2. Click on the “My Boards” icon.

  3. All your active boards will appear on the screen.

  4. Click on the board you want to change.

  5. Once it opens, go to its top right panel.

  6. Click on the settings icon.

  7. Choose “Change Background” and scroll all the way down to the bottom.

  8. Select “Choose” under “Patterns and Textures”.

  9. Choose a background photo from the images provided.

 

Custom Background

  1. Go to the top right panel on your screen.

  2. Click on the “My Boards” icon.

  3. All your active boards will appear on the screen.

  4. Click on the board you want to customize.

  5. Once it opens, go to its top right panel.

  6. Click on the settings icon.

  7. Choose “Change Background” and scroll all the way down to the bottom.

  8. Click “Drop files to upload” under “Custom”.

  9. Choose a background photo from the images on your computer.

 

Subscriptions

Subscriptions enable members to get email notifications of any changes made in the board.

To Subscribe

  1. Go to the top right panel on your screen.

  2. Click on the “My Boards” icon.

  3. All your active boards will appear on the screen.

  4. Click on the board you want to subscribe to.

  5. Once it opens, go to its top right panel.

  6. Click on the settings icon.

  7. Go to “Subscribe” or the “eye” icon.

  8. Click the “Subscribe” button.

  9. The “eye” icon will change and a “check” icon will appear next to Subscribed in the settings menu.

Productivity Beats

Productivity Beats allow users to add a music background to a board. When applied, it automatically plays when a board is opened.

  1. Go to the top right panel on your screen.

  2. Click on the “My Boards” icon.

  3. All your active boards will appear on the screen.

  4. Click on the board you want to customize.

  5. Once it opens, go to its top right panel.

  6. Click on the settings icon.

  7. Choose “Change Background” and scroll all the way down to the bottom.

  8. Click “Add” under “Productivity Beats”.

  9. Choose a music file from your computer.

  10. Add a name and description to the music you added.

  11. Click the “Submit” button.

  12. A music icon will appear on the board with a productivity beat added.

Filter Cards

You can filter the view of cards on a board according to member and due date.

  1. Go to the top right panel on your screen.

  2. Click on the “My Boards” icon.

  3. All your active boards will appear on the screen.

  4. Click on the board you want to customize.

  5. Once it opens, go to its top right panel.

  6. Click on the settings icon.

  7. Choose “Filter Cards”.

  8. Select a filter.

  9. Only the filtered cards will appear on your board.

Close Board

You can close a board when it is no longer in use.

  1. Go to the top right panel on your screen.

  2. Click on the “My Boards” icon.

  3. All your active boards will appear on the screen.

  4. Click on the board you want to customize.

  5. Once it opens, go to its top right panel.

  6. Click on the settings icon.

  7. Choose “Close Board”.

  8. A confirmation message will appear. Click the “Close” button to confirm.

Reopen Board

You can reopen a closed board.

  1. Go to “Boards” on the bottom panel. A menu will pop-up.

  2. Select “Closed Boards”.

  3. Choose a board you want to reopen and click the “Reopen” button.
